GENERAL

This category covers glass blocks certified for a 3/4, 1 or 1-1/2 h fire exposure and intended for installation in openings not exceeding 120 sq ft in area nor 12 ft in width or height, unless otherwise noted in the individual certifications. Glass blocks are designed for the protection of openings in masonry walls, unless otherwise noted in the individual certifications, against fire when installed in accordance with ANSI/NFPA 80, "Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives," and as specified in the individual certifications.
