    1. Steel Flashing and Supports — 3 by 3 by 1/4 in. steel angles attached to masonry with 1/4 in. diam by 1-1/2 in. long steel bolts with expansion shields.
    2. Wall and Partition Facings and Accessories* — Steel Liner Units — Nom 1-1/2 in. deep by varying widths. Min gauge No. 24 MSG attached to top and bottom support angles with No. 14 by 3/4 in. long, hex washer head, self-tapping Type B screws located in each valley of the panel and 1-1/2 in. from the end of the panel. Panel to panel connections made with No. 12-14 by 1 in. long hex washer head, self-drilling steel screws spaced 24 in. OC.

    3. Sub-girts — Hat-shaped sections, 9/16 in. deep by 3-1/2 in. wide with 13/16 in. legs fabricated from No. 18 MSG coated steel. Spaced vertically not more than 10 ft OC. Attached to each valley of liners with two No. 12-14 by 1 in. long hex washer head, self-drilling steel screws, one through each leg of sub-girt.
    4. Impaling Bolts — 1/4 by 2-1/2 in. long steel stove bolts inserted through both hat sub-girts spaced 24 in. OC.
    5. Batts and Blankets* — Optional — 1-1/2 in. thick wool or glass fiber batts. Installed in liner cavity with horizontal joints in adjacent cavities staggered.

    5A. Fiber, Sprayed* — As an alternate to Batts and Blankets (Item 5) - Spray applied cellulose material. Fiber, Sprayed is applied with water to completely fill the enclosed cavity in accordance with the application instructions supplied with the product with a nominal dry density of 2.7 lb/ft3. Alternate Application Method: The fiber is applied without water or adhesive at a nominal dry density of 3.5 lb/ft3, in accordance with the application instructions supplied with the product.

    5B. Fiber, Sprayed* — As an alternate to Batts and Blankets (Item 5) and Item 5A - Spray applied cellulose insulation material. The fiber is applied with water to interior surfaces in accordance with the application instructions supplied with the product. Applied to completely fill the enclosed cavity. Minimum dry density of 4.3 pounds per cubic ft.

    5C. Fiber, Sprayed* — As an alternate to Batts and Blankets (Item 5) - Spray applied cellulose fiber. The fiber is applied with water to completely fill the enclosed cavity in accordance with the application instructions supplied with the product. The minimum dry density shall be 4.30 lbs/ft3.

    6. Gypsum Board* — Three layers, 5/8 in. thick, supplied in 4 by 10 ft sheets. Joints staggered 1 ft between adjacent layers. All three layers impaled on bolts attached to sub-girts. Second and third sheet fastened to twist sheet with 1-1/2 in. Phillips bugle head, hi-lo, self-drilling, Type G drywall screws spaced 12 in. OC vertically and at mid-width and 3/4 in. from long edges, horizontally.

    7. Sub-girts — Described in Item 3 — Secured to liner sub-girts with impaling bolts and 1/4 in. hex nuts.
    8. Building Units* — 2 in. thick insulated steel panels by 30 in. wide min. Min gauge No. 24 MSG. Attached to horizontal support angles through steel spacer clip with No. 14 by 1-1/2 in. long hex head Type AB self-tapping steel screws located in each joint of the concealed lip of the building unit.

    9. Steel Spacer Clip — Used with building units, fabricated from No. 12 MSG steel, 1/4 in. thick, 2-3/16 in. long with 7/8 and 3/8 in. legs and three 5/16 in. diam holes in wide leg spaced 3/4 in. OC.
