Assembly Rating — 2 h

    1. Flashing Channels — Channels 200 mm wide with 45 mm and 76 mm flanges fabricated from nominal 1.52 mm thick galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy-coated sheet steel. Fastened to the frame with 6.4 mm by 41 mm anchors spaced 305 mm OC.
    2(a). Interior Steel Liner — Panels available in nominal 800 mm widths fabricated from nominal 0.61 mm thick galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy-coated sheet steel. Fastened to flashing channels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Interlocking joints of adjacent panels sealed with factory-applied butyl caulking and secured with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Butyl tape applied between the steel liner panels and the flashing channels to provide an air barrier.

    • 2(b). Wall and Partition Facings and Accessories — (CLBVC). Type L-800 panels of nominal 0.61 mm thickness. Fastened to flashing channels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Interlocking joints of adjacent panels sealed with factory-applied butyl caulking and secured with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Butyl tape applied between the panels and the flashing channels to provide an air barrier.

    • 2(c). Wall and Partition Facings and Accessories — (CLBVC). Interior Steel Liner panels of nominal 0.61 mm thickness. Fastened to flashing channels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Overlapping joints of adjacent panels sealed with site-applied butyl caulking and secured with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Butyl tape applied between the panels and the flashing channels to provide an air barrier.

    3(a). Z-Bar Sub-Girts — Notched Z-bars 200 mm wide with 25 mm and 45 mm flanges fabricated from nominal 1.22 mm thick galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy-coated sheet steel. Spaced a maximum of 1525 mm OC. Fastened to the steel liner panels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced not more than 200 mm OC.

    • 3(b). Z-Bar Sub-Girts — (For use with items 2c and 6c) — Z-bars 200 mm wide with 45 mm flanges fabricated from nominal 1.22 mm thick galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy-coated sheet steel. Spaced a maximum of 1525 mm OC. Fastened to the steel liner panels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced not more than 200 mm OC.

    4. Ceramic Fibre Blanket — Density 128 kg/m3, 13 mm thick, minimum 100 mm wide, attached to the Z-bar sub-girts with stick pins spaced 250 mm OC.
    • 5. Batts and Blankets — (BZJZC). Two layers of mineral wool batts, 610 or 813 mm wide by 1220 or 1525 mm long by 102 mm thick, designated "Roxul® Firewall 2HR". Mineral Fibre Insulation, minimum density 72 kg/m3, installed with joints staggered a minimum of 300 mm within each layer and between adjacent layers. The overall thickness of the wall may be increased provided the Mineral Fibre Insulation (item 5) is used to completely fill the wall cavity, and provided the size of the Flashing Channels (item 1) and Z-Bar Sub-Girts (item 3) are increased to match the thicker wall.

    6(a). Exterior Cladding and Accessories — Corrugated panels, available in various profiles and nominal 915 mm widths, fabricated from nominal 0.61 mm thick galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy-coated sheet steel. Fastened to the Z-bar sub-girts with minimum 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Fastened to flashing channels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Side lap joints of adjacent panels fastened with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 405 mm OC. The top and bottom of the exterior cladding are trimmed with cap and drip flashings respectively.

    • 6(b). Wall and Partition Facings and Accessories — (CLBVC). Type CL 725, CL7040, CL840, CL38, CL938, CL3070, CL470, CL306, CL308, CL3100 or CL400 corrugated panels of nominal 0.61 mm thickness. Fastened to the Z-bar sub-girts with minimum 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Fastened to flashing channels with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 305 mm OC. Side lap joints of adjacent panels fastened with 19 mm long sheet metal screws spaced 405 mm OC. The top and bottom of the exterior cladding are trimmed with cap and drip flashings respectively.
